Draft for internal reference — basic content and outline only. Review with legal counsel (and verify DPDP Act 2023 obligations) before publishing.
These terms govern your access to and use of Praxy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Data handling pages.
1. Acceptance
By signing up for or using Praxy, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any practice you represent. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Who can use Praxy
Praxy is for licensed medical practitioners and their authorised staff. You confirm you hold the registrations and qualifications required to practise in your jurisdiction.
To develop
- Specify verification expectations for medical registration / licence.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account, your staff's access, and keeping credentials secure. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Praxy: no unlawful content, no infringing others' rights, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, and no use that violates patient-privacy or medical-advertising rules.
5. Patient data & your responsibilities
You control the patient data in your practice. You are the Data Fiduciary for that data; Praxy acts as your Data Processor. You are responsible for obtaining patient consent and using the data lawfully. See Data handling.
6. Fees & payments
Praxy is free to start. Optional paid services and a per-transaction payment fee apply as shown on our pricing page. Payment processing is handled by a third-party processor under its own terms.
To develop
- State billing cycle, taxes (GST), refunds, and price-change notice.
7. Third-party services
Praxy integrates with third parties (e.g. payments, messaging, video). Your use of those is also subject to their terms, and we aren't responsible for their services.
8. Intellectual property
Praxy and its software remain our property. You retain ownership of your content and your practice's data; you grant us the licence needed to operate the service for you.
9. No medical advice; no Praxy–patient relationship
Praxy is software for doctors. We do not provide medical advice and have no doctor–patient relationship with your patients. Clinical decisions and their consequences are solely the practitioner's.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.
To develop
- Have counsel draft warranty disclaimer and a liability cap appropriate for India.
11. Termination
You can stop using Praxy any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and will give you a way to export your data where reasonable.
12. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at [jurisdiction] having jurisdiction. Questions: [legal@praxy.in].
